Multi-engine Aircraft
A multi-engine aircraft is an airplane that has more than one engine. These aircraft are designed to provide redundancy in case of engine failure, and to increase performance and safety during flight. Multi-engine aircraft are commonly used in commercial aviation for passenger transport, cargo transport, and air ambulance services. They are also used in military aviation for transport, reconnaissance, and combat missions. Multi-engine aircraft require specialized training and certification for pilots, as they have different handling characteristics than single-engine aircraft. The most common types of multi-engine aircraft include twin-engine, three-engine, and four-engine planes.
