National Airspace System

The National airspace system (NAS) is the network of United States airspace, air navigation facilities, and airports, all of which are controlled by the Federal aviation administration (FAA) to ensure safety and efficiency in air transportation. The NAS includes air traffic control systems, communication systems, navigation systems, and airports. It also includes rules, regulations, and procedures for pilots and air traffic controllers to follow. The NAS is responsible for managing the flow of air traffic, ensuring safe separation between aircraft, and providing navigational assistance to pilots. It is a complex system that requires constant monitoring and maintenance to ensure the safety of all those who use it.
