Operational Risk

Operational risk is the risk of loss resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, and systems or from external events. In aviation, operational risk can arise from a variety of sources, including human error, technical failures, weather conditions, and air traffic control issues. It can also result from inadequate training, poor communication, and insufficient maintenance. Operational risk management is the process of identifying, assessing, and controlling these risks to ensure safe and efficient operations.
