Retroreflective Sheeting
Retroreflective sheeting is a material used on airport runways, taxiways, and signage to enhance visibility during low-light conditions. The sheeting is designed to reflect light back to its source, making it easier for pilots to see and navigate the airport. Retroreflective sheeting is made up of tiny glass beads or prisms that are embedded in a transparent plastic film. When light hits the sheeting, it is reflected back in the direction it came from, creating a bright and visible surface. The sheeting is available in different colors and grades, with higher grades providing better visibility and durability.
