Screening

Screening is the process of examining passengers and their belongings before they board an aircraft. The purpose of screening is to ensure that no prohibited items, such as weapons or explosives, are brought on board. Screening is typically conducted by trained security personnel using specialized equipment, such as X-ray machines and metal detectors. In addition to screening passengers and their carry-on items, checked baggage is also screened to ensure that it does not contain any prohibited items. Screening is an essential component of aviation security and is required by law in most countries.
