Reflective Materials
Reflective materials are materials that have the ability to reflect light back to its source. In aviation, reflective materials are used for safety purposes, such as on airport runways, taxiways, and signage. These materials are designed to enhance visibility and improve safety during low-light conditions, such as at night or during inclement weather. Reflective materials can also be used on aircraft, such as on the fuselage or wings, to improve visibility and aid in collision avoidance. The most common reflective materials used in aviation are glass beads, microprisms, and retroreflective sheeting.
