Special Dietary Needs

Special Dietary Needs refer to the specific dietary requirements of passengers due to medical, religious, or personal reasons. In aviation context, airlines are required to provide special meals to passengers with special dietary needs, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, low-fat, kosher, halal, and diabetic meals. Passengers with special dietary needs should inform the airline in advance of their requirements, and the airline will make every effort to accommodate their needs. However, airlines may have limitations on the types of special meals they can provide, depending on the length of the flight, the destination, and the availability of ingredients.
