Type Rating

Type Rating is a certification granted to a pilot to fly a specific aircraft type. It is a specialized training program that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to operate a particular aircraft. The training includes both theoretical and practical components, covering topics such as aircraft systems, performance, limitations, procedures, and emergency situations. The pilot must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the aircraft before being granted the Type Rating. Type Ratings are required for pilots to operate certain aircraft, such as large commercial jets or complex business jets.
