Visual Reference
Visual Reference is a term used in aviation to describe the use of external visual cues by pilots to control the aircraft's position and attitude. These cues include the horizon, the ground, other aircraft, and landmarks. Visual reference is particularly important during takeoff and landing, when pilots must rely on their eyes to judge the aircraft's height and speed.
