Vortex

In aviation, vortex refers to the circular patterns of air that are generated behind an aircraft's wingtips when it is in flight. These vortices are created due to the difference in air pressure above and below the wings, and they can be hazardous to other aircraft that are flying too close behind. The strength of the vortex depends on the size and weight of the aircraft, as well as its speed and configuration. Pilots are trained to avoid flying through vortexes, and air traffic controllers are responsible for maintaining safe distances between aircraft to prevent collisions caused by vortexes.
