Wind Tunnel
A wind tunnel is a tool used in aerodynamic research to study the effects of air moving past solid objects. It is a chamber with a fan or blower that creates a controlled airflow around an object. Wind tunnels are used to test and improve the design of aircraft, missiles, cars, buildings, and other structures. By measuring the forces and pressures on a model placed in the wind tunnel, engineers can predict how the full-scale object will behave in real-world conditions. Wind tunnels can also simulate different wind speeds, temperatures, and altitudes, allowing researchers to test a wide range of scenarios.
