Yaw Motion
Yaw motion is the movement of an aircraft around its vertical axis, which is perpendicular to the wings and passes through the center of gravity. Yaw motion is controlled by the rudder, which is located on the vertical stabilizer at the rear of the aircraft. The rudder is used to deflect the airflow and create a force that turns the aircraft left or right. Yaw motion is important for controlling the direction of flight, especially during takeoff and landing when the aircraft is moving slowly. It is also important for maintaining stability in flight, as well as for performing certain maneuvers such as slips and skids.
