Air-cushion Vehicle
An air-cushion vehicle (ACV) is a type of vehicle that rides on a cushion of air, which is generated by a fan or propeller. ACVs are commonly used for transportation over water, ice, mud, and other surfaces that are difficult or impossible for traditional vehicles to traverse. ACVs are also used in military operations, search and rescue missions, and as recreational vehicles. The air cushion reduces friction between the vehicle and the surface, allowing for high speeds and maneuverability. ACVs can be powered by gasoline, diesel, or electric engines, and can range in size from small personal craft to large commercial vessels.
