Aircraft Control Systems

Aircraft control systems are the collection of mechanical and electronic systems that allow pilots to control the flight of an aircraft. These systems include the primary flight controls, such as the ailerons, elevator, and rudder, as well as secondary controls, such as flaps and spoilers. The control systems also include the cockpit controls, such as the yoke or stick, pedals, and throttle, as well as the instruments and displays that provide information to the pilot. Modern aircraft control systems are highly automated, with computerized fly-by-wire systems that use electronic signals to control the flight surfaces. These systems are designed to improve safety, reduce pilot workload, and enhance the performance of the aircraft.
