Angle Of Attack Sensors

Angle of Attack (AoA) sensors are devices that measure the angle between the relative wind and the chord line of an airfoil. This angle is important because it determines the amount of lift generated by the wing. AoA sensors are used in aircraft to provide pilots with information about the angle of the wing relative to the oncoming air. This information is critical for safe flight, especially during takeoff and landing. In recent years, there have been several incidents where faulty AoA sensors have caused accidents, leading to increased scrutiny of these devices.
