Artificial Satellite

An artificial satellite is a man-made object that is intentionally placed into orbit around the Earth, Moon or other celestial body. Satellites are used for a variety of purposes, including communication, navigation, weather forecasting, Earth observation, and scientific research. They are launched into space using rockets and are designed to operate in the harsh environment of space for extended periods of time. Satellites can be classified into different types based on their orbit, altitude, and purpose. Some of the common types of satellites include geostationary satellites, low Earth orbit satellites, polar orbiting satellites, and sun-synchronous satellites.
