The Civil aviation Administration of China (CAAC) is the national aviation authority of the People's Republic of China. It is responsible for the regulation of civil aviation in China as well as the management of the country's airspace. The CAAC oversees the development of the country's air transportation industry, including the construction and operation of airports and the certification of airlines and aviation personnel. It also works to ensure the safety and security of air travel in China, and to promote the sustainable development of the aviation industry.
