Cockpit Control

Cockpit control refers to the various systems and instruments that allow pilots to operate an aircraft. These controls include the flight instruments, such as the altimeter, airspeed indicator, and attitude indicator, as well as the engine controls, such as the throttle, mixture, and propeller pitch controls. Other cockpit controls include the landing gear, flaps, and brakes. The cockpit control panel is typically located in the center of the cockpit, within easy reach of both pilots. Effective cockpit control is essential for safe and efficient flight operations.
