Codeshare Agreements

Codeshare agreements are commercial agreements between two or more airlines that allow one airline to market and sell flights operated by another airline under its own airline code. This means that a passenger can purchase a ticket from one airline and travel on flights operated by multiple airlines, making it easier to travel to destinations that may not be served by a single airline. Codeshare agreements also allow airlines to expand their route networks and increase their passenger traffic without having to operate additional flights. These agreements typically involve a revenue-sharing arrangement between the airlines involved.
