Ticket

A ticket is a document that serves as proof of payment for a seat on a particular flight. It contains information about the passenger, the flight number, the date and time of the flight, the departure and arrival airports, the seat number, and the fare paid. In the past, tickets were physical documents that passengers had to carry with them to the airport. Nowadays, most airlines issue electronic tickets, also known as e-tickets, which are stored in the airline's computer system. Passengers can access their e-tickets through the airline's website or mobile app, or by printing them out. A ticket is essential for boarding a flight and must be presented along with a valid ID.
