Concorde

Concorde was a supersonic passenger airliner that operated from 1976 to 2003. It was jointly developed and manufactured by British and French companies. Concorde had a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound and could fly at a cruising altitude of 60,000 feet. It had a maximum capacity of 100 passengers and was primarily used for transatlantic flights between London, Paris, and New York. Due to its high operating costs and limited routes, Concorde was retired after 27 years of service.
