Curing Process
In aviation, the curing process refers to the process of applying heat and pressure to a composite material, such as carbon fiber, to create a rigid and durable structure. During the curing process, the material is placed in a mold and heated to a specific temperature for a set amount of time. This allows the resin in the material to harden and bond with the fibers, creating a strong and lightweight structure. The curing process is a critical step in the manufacturing of aircraft components, such as wings, fuselages, and tail sections.
