Damp Leasing

Damp leasing is a type of aircraft lease where the lessor provides the aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) to the lessee. The lessee is responsible for fuel, airport fees, and other operational costs. Damp leasing is commonly used by airlines to meet short-term capacity needs or to operate flights to destinations where they do not have the necessary aircraft or crew. The lessor is responsible for ensuring that the aircraft is airworthy and compliant with all regulations. The crew provided by the lessor operates the aircraft under the direction of the lessee. Damp leasing is also known as ACMI leasing.
