Design Standards

Design Standards in aviation refer to a set of guidelines and requirements that must be followed during the design and development of aircraft, aircraft systems, and components. These standards ensure that the design of the aircraft meets the necessary safety, performance, and reliability requirements. Design standards cover a wide range of areas, including aerodynamics, structures, materials, avionics, systems, and human factors. Compliance with Design standards is mandatory for all aircraft manufacturers and operators, and is enforced by regulatory authorities such as the Federal aviation administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
