Federal Aviation Regulations

Federal Aviation regulations (FAR) are rules prescribed by the Federal aviation administration (FAA) governing all aviation activities in the United States. The FARs are designed to promote safe flight operations, protect individuals and property on the ground, and prevent collisions between aircraft. They cover a wide range of topics, including aircraft design and maintenance, pilot certification and training, air traffic control procedures, and airport operations. Compliance with the FARs is mandatory for all individuals and organizations involved in aviation activities in the United States.
