Floats

In aviation, floats are buoyant devices that are attached to the bottom of an aircraft to enable it to land and take off from water. Floats are commonly used on seaplanes and amphibious aircraft. They are designed to provide stability and support to the aircraft while it is on the water, and to allow it to move smoothly through the water during takeoff and landing. Floats come in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending on the type of aircraft and the conditions in which it will be operating. They are typically made of lightweight materials such as aluminum or composite materials, and are filled with air or foam to provide buoyancy.
