Floodlights

Floodlights are high-intensity artificial lights that are used to illuminate large areas, such as airport runways, taxiways, and aprons. They are typically mounted on tall poles or towers and are designed to provide bright and even lighting over a wide area. Floodlights are an essential component of airport lighting systems, as they enable pilots to see the runway and surrounding areas clearly during takeoff, landing, and taxiing. They also help ground personnel to perform their duties safely and efficiently, such as refueling, loading and unloading cargo, and directing aircraft. Floodlights are usually equipped with automatic controls that adjust the intensity of the light according to the ambient light conditions, and they are often powered by backup generators in case of power outages.
