Illegal Drugs

Illegal drugs refer to any substance that is prohibited by law to possess, use, manufacture, or distribute. In aviation context, the use of illegal drugs by pilots, air traffic controllers, or any aviation personnel is strictly prohibited as it can impair their judgment, coordination, and reaction time, which can lead to accidents or incidents. The Federal aviation administration (FAA) has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use and conducts regular drug testing for aviation personnel. The consequences of testing positive for illegal drugs can result in the revocation of an individual's pilot or air traffic controller license, fines, and even imprisonment.
