Drug Testing

Drug testing in aviation refers to the process of screening pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation personnel for the presence of drugs or alcohol in their system. This is done to ensure that aviation professionals are not under the influence of any substance that could impair their ability to perform their duties safely. Drug testing is mandatory for all aviation personnel and is conducted at various stages, including pre-employment, random testing, post-incident testing, and reasonable suspicion testing. The Federal aviation administration (FAA) has strict guidelines and regulations in place to ensure that drug testing is conducted accurately and fairly.
