Intersection Fixes
Intersection Fixes are defined as a point in space that is defined by the intersection of two or more navigational aids. These fixes are used in aviation as a means of navigation and are often found at the junction of two airways or at the intersection of a radial from one VOR with a radial from another VOR. Intersection Fixes are used to help pilots navigate through the airspace and are often depicted on aeronautical charts. They are also used as a means of communication between pilots and air traffic control, allowing for more precise and efficient routing.
