Layovers

Layovers, also known as stopovers, are scheduled stops in a journey where passengers disembark from one flight and wait for a connecting flight to their final destination. Layovers can range from a few hours to several days, depending on the airline and the itinerary. They are often used by airlines to connect passengers to destinations that are not served by direct flights. Layovers can be a convenient way for passengers to break up a long journey, but they can also be a source of frustration if they are too long or if there are delays. Some airports have amenities such as lounges, restaurants, and shops to make layovers more comfortable.
