Line Check
A line check is a process in aviation where a pilot's performance is evaluated by a certified line check airman during a flight. The purpose of a line check is to ensure that the pilot is proficient in all aspects of the aircraft's operation, including normal and emergency procedures, and that the pilot is able to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently. The line check airman observes the pilot's performance during the flight, evaluates the pilot's decision-making skills, and provides feedback on any areas that need improvement. The line check is a critical component of pilot training and is required by regulatory agencies to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
