Operator Proficiency Check (OPC)

Operator Proficiency Check (OPC) is a mandatory evaluation conducted by an authorized examiner to assess the competency of a pilot or a flight crew member. The OPC is designed to ensure that the pilot or crew member is proficient in the operation of the specific type of aircraft they are assigned to fly. The evaluation includes both ground and flight training, and covers normal and emergency procedures. The OPC is required by aviation regulatory authorities to ensure that pilots and crew members are capable of safely operating the aircraft and handling any emergency situations that may arise during flight.
