Precision Radio Guidance System

Precision Radio Guidance System (PRGS) is a ground-based navigation aid that provides highly accurate guidance to aircraft during approach and landing. PRGS uses a combination of radio signals and computer technology to guide aircraft to the runway with great precision, even in adverse weather conditions. The system consists of a ground-based transmitter that sends out radio signals to the aircraft, which are then received by the aircraft's onboard receiver.
