Proprioception
Proprioception is the sense of the relative position of one's own parts of the body and the effort being employed in movement. In aviation, proprioception is crucial for pilots to maintain spatial orientation and control of the aircraft. It allows pilots to sense the position and movement of their own body in relation to the aircraft and the environment, and to make necessary adjustments to maintain control. Proprioceptive information is integrated with visual and vestibular cues to provide a complete picture of the aircraft's position and movement. Without proper proprioception, pilots may experience spatial disorientation, which can lead to loss of control and accidents.
