Roll Angle
Roll angle is the angle between the longitudinal axis of an aircraft and the horizontal plane, as the aircraft rolls about its lateral axis. It is a measure of the bank angle of an aircraft. The roll angle is important in determining the stability and control of an aircraft during flight. The roll angle can be controlled by the ailerons, which are located on the trailing edge of the wings and are used to create differential lift between the wings, causing the aircraft to roll. In commercial aviation, the roll angle is closely monitored by the flight crew and is an important parameter in maintaining the safety and stability of the aircraft during flight.
