Satellite Launch

In the context of aviation, a satellite launch refers to the process of sending an artificial satellite into space using a launch vehicle, which is a vehicle designed to propel payloads into space. The launch involves a series of stages, starting with the pre-launch preparations that include the integration of the satellite with the launch vehicle and the testing of systems. The launch phase involves the ignition of the launch vehicle's engines and the ascent into space, during which the vehicle must overcome the Earth's gravitational pull. Once in space, the satellite is deployed into its intended orbit. The launch vehicle may then be de-orbited and directed to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere, where it will burn up, or it may be left in a 'graveyard' orbit. The success of a satellite launch is dependent on a range of factors, including the reliability of the launch vehicle, the accuracy of the launch window calculations, and the performance of the satellite's onboard systems once in orbit.
