Stopovers
Stopovers refer to a break in a journey where a passenger disembarks from one flight and waits for a certain period of time before boarding another flight to reach their final destination. Stopovers can be planned or unplanned and can last from a few hours to several days. Airlines often offer stopovers as a way to break up long journeys and allow passengers to explore a new destination. Stopovers can also be used to save money on airfare by booking a flight with a layover in a cheaper destination. However, stopovers can also cause inconvenience and add to the overall travel time.
