Tow Hook

A tow hook is a device installed on an aircraft that allows it to be towed by a ground vehicle. Tow hooks are typically located on the nose gear or main landing gear of an aircraft and are designed to withstand the forces of being towed. They are commonly used to move aircraft around on the ground, such as when positioning them for maintenance or storage. Tow hooks are an important safety feature, as they allow for controlled movement of the aircraft without the need for engine power. In addition, they can be used in emergency situations to move disabled aircraft off the runway or taxiway.
