ADS-B Systems

ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) is a surveillance technology used in aviation that enables aircraft to determine their position via satellite navigation and periodically broadcast it, along with other information such as altitude and velocity, to ground stations and other aircraft. ADS-B systems provide more accurate and reliable tracking of aircraft than traditional radar systems, and can also provide pilots with real-time traffic and weather information. ADS-B is becoming increasingly important as a key component of modern air traffic control systems, and is being mandated by many countries as a replacement for traditional radar-based surveillance.
