ADS-C Agreement
ADS-C (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract) Agreement is a contract between the aircraft operator and the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) that defines the terms and conditions for the use of ADS-C. ADS-C is a surveillance technology that allows an aircraft to automatically transmit its position, altitude, and other data to the ground-based ATC (Air Traffic Control) system at predetermined intervals. The ADS-C Agreement specifies the parameters for the transmission of data, such as the frequency of transmission, the type of data to be transmitted, and the conditions under which the data will be transmitted. The agreement also defines the responsibilities of the aircraft operator and the ANSP in terms of the use and maintenance of the ADS-C system.
