Aviation Authorities

Aviation Authorities refer to government agencies or regulatory bodies responsible for overseeing and regulating all aspects of aviation safety, security, and operations. These authorities are responsible for setting and enforcing safety standards, issuing licenses and certifications for pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation professionals, and ensuring that all aircraft and airports meet safety and security requirements. They also investigate accidents and incidents, and may impose fines or other penalties for violations of regulations. Examples of aviation authorities include the Federal aviation administration (FAA) in the United States, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in Europe, and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the United Kingdom.
