Blade

In aviation, a blade refers to the rotating component of a rotor system that generates lift. Blades are typically made of composite materials or metals and are designed to be aerodynamically efficient. They are attached to the rotor hub and rotate around a central axis, creating lift as they move through the air. Blades can be fixed or adjustable, and their pitch can be changed to control the amount of lift generated. In helicopters, the main rotor blades provide lift and control the aircraft's movement, while the tail rotor blades counteract the torque generated by the main rotor. In aircraft with propellers, the blades are attached to the hub and rotate to generate thrust.
