Brace Position
Brace position is a safety measure that passengers are instructed to take in the event of an emergency landing or crash. The brace position involves sitting upright, placing your feet flat on the floor, and leaning forward, with your head as close to your knees as possible. This position is designed to protect your head, neck, and spine from injury during impact. Flight attendants demonstrate the brace position before takeoff and provide instructions on when and how to assume the position in the event of an emergency. Passengers are required to follow these instructions to increase their chances of survival in the event of an emergency.
