Chemical Propulsion
Chemical propulsion is a method of generating thrust for spacecraft or aircraft that involves the chemical reaction of propellants. The propellants are usually composed of a fuel and an oxidizer, which when combined, undergo a chemical reaction that produces hot gases. These gases are then expelled out of a nozzle at the back of the engine, creating a forward thrust. Chemical propulsion is the most common form of propulsion used in aviation and spaceflight due to its high thrust-to-weight ratio and relatively low cost.
