Collision

In aviation, collision refers to the impact between two or more aircraft, or between an aircraft and an object such as a bird or a drone. Collisions can occur on the ground or in the air, and can result in serious damage to the aircraft and loss of life. Collision avoidance systems, such as TCAS (Traffic Collision avoidance System) and ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast), are used to prevent collisions by providing pilots with real-time information about the location of other aircraft in the vicinity. In addition, air traffic control plays a critical role in preventing collisions by providing guidance and instructions to pilots to maintain safe distances from other aircraft.
