Deceleration
Deceleration is the opposite of acceleration and refers to the reduction of speed or velocity of an aircraft. In aviation, deceleration can occur in various situations such as during landing, when the aircraft needs to slow down before coming to a complete stop, or during an emergency when the pilot needs to quickly reduce the speed of the aircraft. Deceleration can be achieved through various means such as the use of brakes, spoilers, or reverse thrust. The rate of deceleration is measured in negative G-forces (Gs) and can have a significant impact on the passengers and crew on board the aircraft.
