FLARM

FLARM (FLight AlaRM) is a collision avoidance system designed for use by gliders, light aircraft, and UAVs. It uses GPS and radio frequency technology to provide situational awareness and collision avoidance capabilities. FLARM-equipped aircraft broadcast their position, altitude, and velocity to other FLARM-equipped aircraft in the vicinity, allowing pilots to see and avoid potential collisions. The system also provides visual and audible alerts to pilots when a potential collision is detected. FLARM is widely used in Europe and is becoming increasingly popular in other parts of the world.
