G-LOC
G-LOC (G-force induced Loss Of Consciousness) is a medical condition caused by excessive and sustained acceleration forces on the body, typically experienced by pilots during high-performance aircraft maneuvers. The human body can tolerate a certain amount of G-forces, but when the force exceeds that limit, blood flow to the brain is reduced, resulting in a loss of consciousness. G-LOC can be prevented by wearing anti-G suits, which apply pressure to the lower body to prevent blood from pooling in the legs and abdomen, and by performing anti-G straining maneuvers, which involve tensing the muscles in the legs, abdomen, and buttocks to increase blood flow to the brain.
