Landing Lights

Landing lights are high-intensity lights located on the nose, wings, and/or landing gear of an aircraft that are used to illuminate the runway during takeoff and landing. They are typically turned on below 10,000 feet and provide additional visibility to the pilots during critical phases of flight. Landing lights also serve as a signal to ground personnel and other aircraft that the plane is preparing to land or take off. In some cases, landing lights may also be used during taxiing to increase visibility in low-light conditions.
